Description
Plenty of Fish In The Sea is a small series of work which in 3 pieces with a very abstractly designed background. The background is intended to give the impression that the fish are moving through underwater caverns.
The rest of the series includes 3 sets of three images meant to be hung together. One is an arrangement of the colorful fish, one is a single fish with simple water lines flowing under it, and the last is an unusual medallion pattern with the fish.
There are plenty of fish in the sea....
(a saying that should illegal to mention to anyone who is suffering from a broken heart, I know it never consoled me)
When I decoded to make this series, I was thinking about fish. I don't believe in astrology but my sign is a Picses. I went fishing a lot as a child...never liked it. Long, boring hours...waiting to catch some poor fish that is going to die. I'm not a hunter...lol. My husband and I were watching a documentary, and inside of it...we learned where a few sayings come from. I looked up this saying, I couldn't find an origination. I was just thinking to myself, it's not a helpful saying, even if it's true. I am not currently suffering a broken heart though, I am happily married.
